The AVE Hex-Flat 18 is a high-powered LED par can that is designed to wash even the largest of stages. Fitted with 18x 12W Osram LED diodes, each with Hex-colour technology (RGBAW+UV) allowing you to mix any colour in the spectrum. The par is built into a solid ABS plastic housing with thermal fan to keep the fixture cool. A dual yoke is also included for safely hanging the fixture from stands or lighting truss, and can be split for mounting on the floor.
The Hex-Flat 18 used a digital LCD menu display that is easy to read (even in low light environments) and includes ‘Auto’ programs such as ‘Fade’ and ‘Sound active’ modes as standard. Easy to use right out of the box with manual colour mixing from the menu without any additional hardware needed. The Hex-Flat 18 can also be controlled via DMX for integration into larger lighting shows and setups with the 3-pin XLR connectors and the 8CH or 11CH personalities.
The Hex-Flat also has the ability (when used in DMX) to default to an auto setting when the DMX signal is no longer detected. When the DMX resumes the fixture returns to the DMX setting. This is useful for dance floors, and event venues that want to avoid unexpected blackouts due to signal loss or controller issues.
