The Axiom AX Coloumn array system featuring AX16CL and AX8CL line array modules has been designed to be combined with the SW212A, a compact and lightweight 2×12” Band-Pass/Bass-Reflex subwoofer, equipped with a 2800W Class D amplifier with Power Factor Correction and PROEL’s proprietary 40-bit floating point CORE2 DSP. The result is a solid and wide coverage range with perfect frequency balance across the spectrum. The SW212A subwoofer feautres a 2x 1400W Class-D bi-amp capable of powering not only itself but up to four AX16CL modules via the NL4 connector on the rear. The built-in CORE2 DSP manages the system for immaculate sound reproduction, even at high volumes, and can be remotely controlled using PRONET AX software. The DSP comes preconfigured with4 presets for different AX column element combinations: 2, 4 or 1 columns plus 1 user preset.
Unlike other column systems in the market, this system is scaleable and completely modular with the option of adding additional elements with 4x 2.5″ (AX4CL), 8×2.5″ (AX8CL), and 16x 2.5″ (AX16CL) available.
RIGGING HARDWARE AND ACCESSORIES
Thanks to its elegant mechanical design the AX column array system can be easily transported, while the integrated suspension system makes its deployment very fast and simple. Each column array element comes with two aluminum brackets and two pins that allows multiple array elements to be easily combined either together or with the matching SW212A subwoofer. The brackets also allows you to set splay angels of 0°, 2° and 4° to provide maximum flexibility and coverage.
